Al Ansar wins the Saudi Clubs U21 First Division Championship

Al Ansar’s Under-21 team were crowned champions of the Saudi Clubs Championship for the 2025–2026 sporting season after defeating Al-Faisaly 3–2 in the final played at Al Ansar Club Stadium in Madinah on Sunday evening.

The team reached the final after a strong knockout run: overcoming Al-Batin 2–1 on aggregate in the round of 32, then beating Al-Hariq 3–0 away in the round of 16 before a 2–1 home defeat in the return leg.

In the quarter-finals they beat Al-Tai 2–0 away, then sealed a place in the final by defeating Al-Tadamon 2–1 away in the semi-final.

The final kicked off before a large crowd of Al Ansar supporters and Madinah residents, with accompanying events around the stadium that added to the atmosphere of the occasion.

The official platform was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Governor of the Madinah Region, along with a number of sporting and media figures.

The two sides delivered a competitive contest before Al Ansar sealed a 3–2 win to claim the title and add another achievement to the club’s youth record. At the end of the match, Al Ansar were presented with the championship trophy by Saudi Football Federation board member Naeem Al-Bakr, amid strong celebrations from players and fans.

This title is an important milestone in the club’s youth development pathway, and further motivation to keep building toward a stronger presence in upcoming competitions.
